  2. Selespeed Actuator Gear Selection Sensor Replacement

    www.alfaowner.com/threads/selespeed-actuator-gear-selection-sensor-replacement...

    1) Replace the actuator (which all garages wanted to do) which would cost around £300 to £400. 2) Replace the sensor on the actuator. Obviously number 2 was the way to go first so I ordered the part and figured I could whip out the actuator, replace the sensor and be back up and running in no time.

Bumps in a (sustained) turn, small s-turns, enough space on a normal road to test the load change. At such conditions (and at high speed) you will notice the very big difference between a mono-tube (Bilstein/H&R) or a standard system (KW/Eibach etc). In standard situations like driving in a city there is no way to feel a difference.

Topic, if the suspension makes the noise at low cruising speed ( around 20 mph ) when you can stick to a constant speed as opposed to having to speed up / slow down is the best way to test it. I bought new upper arms from Meyle and six month later I was back to square one with the annoying creaks.

Took a 4c LE for a test drive this morning, within 100 yards at 25-30 mph I felt the car was trying to kill me, no feel whatsoever and the car followed every rut, grid, bump, camber etc, didn't seem too bad on smoother roads and at faster speeds but really didn't inspire any confidence to drive fast.

  7. Sump guard. Yes or No | Alfa Romeo Forum

Norseman50. I have to believe that the sump guard provides an extra bit of rigidity to the front end framework, by tying the cross member to the front sill and forward sway bar. The unibody suspension in the Spider is notoriously flexible, and the sump guard tends to reduce that twist and thereby improve handling.

Connect a lighting strip to the towbar socket and test that the left indicator works on the strip and the buzzer buzzes in the relay. Using another length of wire and blue clip, extend the green wire so that connection can be made in similar fashion to the indicator wire on the right tail light assembly.

Alfa Romeo - Veni, Vidi, Vici. With The wing style crossbar a good box is whisper quiet up to 60mph but quite noticeable at 70mph (probably same noise as standard wind noise through b pillars ) even on my my20 with no glass roof you notice it. I think roof boxes or was it bars are rated up to 70-80mph.
