Bhavani Narayanrao Krishnamurti Sharma (9 June 1909 – 2 July 2005), commonly known as B. N. K. Sharma or B. N. Krishnamurti Sharma, was an Indian writer, scholar, professor, and Indologist. Sharma was a professor and Head of the Department of Sanskrit in Ruparel College , Bombay from (1953–1969).
Rama Nath Sharma (also written as Ramanath Sharma) was born in 1939 at Chhata, Ballia, India [1] [2] in a family of traditional Sanskrit scholars. He studied Sanskrit from his father Padmashri Paṇḍita Raghunath Sharma , the author of the famous commentary Ambākartrī on the Vākyapadīyam of Bhartṛhari .

Rallapalli Ananta Krishna Sharma (23 January 1893 – 11 March 1979) was a noted composer of Carnatic music, singer, Telugu literature, teacher and Sanskrit scholar. He was responsible for discovering and cataloguing many forgotten compositions of Annamacharya . [ 1 ]
Mr. Sharma has authored several books in Kannada and Sanskrit. He is a recipient of the national award for Sanskrit learning and has received the Rajyotsava Award. The Karnataka Samskrit University recently conferred an honorary doctorate on him. [6] In his Laukika Nyayagalu, he explained 219 maxims in Kannada. [7]
The book analyses the practice of land grants, which became considerable in the Gupta period and widespread in the post-Gupta period. It shows how this led to the emergence of a class of landlords , endowed with fiscal and administrative rights superimposed upon a class of peasantry which was deprived of communal agrarian rights.
