Richard J. Donovan Correctional Facility (RJD) is a California state prison in unincorporated southern San Diego County, California, [2] near San Diego. [3] [4] It is operated by the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation. The facility sits on 780 acres (320 ha). It is the only state prison in San Diego County.
The Town of Southwest Ranches started operations in June 2000, and the prison became a part of the municipality. [7] It housed female death row inmates until February 2003 when the female death row was moved to Lowell Annex. [8] The Broward Correctional Institution served as a reception center for female inmates.
[2] It was the fourth state prison built in California (after San Quentin State Prison, Folsom State Prison, and the original California Institution for Women at Tehachapi). [4] Since the California Correctional Institution replaced the original California Institution for Women at Tehachapi, [9] CIM is now the third-oldest California state prison.

Dick Conner Correctional Center is an Oklahoma Department of Corrections state prison for men located north of the town of Hominy, Osage County, Oklahoma.The medium-security facility opened in 1979 with an original design capacity of 400, and is named for former Oklahoma State Penitentiary warden and Osage County sheriff R.B. "Dick" Conner.
