In September, Annie Wersching was revealed to be cast in the recurring role of the Borg Queen, taking over from Alice Krige who portrayed the character in the film Star Trek: First Contact (1996) and the Voyager series finale.
Annie Wersching who played Liana, had previously acted only in theatre, and this was her first onscreen work. [1] In 2022 she appeared in Star Trek: Picard season 2, in a recurring role as the Borg Queen.
The Borg Queen returned in the second season of Star Trek: Picard, played by Annie Wersching and Alison Pill.
