Cogswell Hall houses the Music Department of the College of Fine Arts. The building first opened in 1960, but underwent a complete renovation between 2004 and 2006. When first constructed, Cogswell Hall was designed for 200 students and 20 faculty.

Wootton is a village and civil parish in the Vale of White Horse about 3 miles (5 km) north-west of Abingdon. It was part of Berkshire until the 1974 boundary changes transferred it to Oxfordshire.
