We have recently bought a 2006 Tigercat 625c skidder and are having some issues. If anyone has some advice, ideas would be greatly appreciated. It has a 5.9 Cummins in it and bogs down a lot, under powered. Highest Engine torque is 75% and turbo boost 19 psi. Is this normal for this engine?
I bought a Tigercat 630 a couple of weeks ago. It's a 1997 model with over 7,000 hours on it. It's been sitting since shortly after 2007 (that's the date on the old batteries). This is a "it was working when it was parked there" purchase. We checked all the fluids and brought them to safe levels. The only thing low was the hydraulic oil.
Looking for options for source of trouble with my Tigercat 630 skidder. Lost hydraulic functions as I was backing up a slight grade to grab another drag. Still have forward and reverse movement. No grapple, blade, or steering. Suggestions?
