Naim bey Frashëri, [1] [2] more commonly Naim Frashëri (/ ˈ n aɪ m f r ɑː ʃ ə r ɪ /; pronounced [naˈim fɾaˈʃəˈɾi]; 25 May 1846 – 20 October 1900), was an Albanian historian, journalist, poet, rilindas and translator who was proclaimed as the national poet of Albania.
In the 1880, he sought to become the prince of Albania. his son, Mithat bey Frasheri, (1880-1849), a patriot and writer during the half of the 19th century, was head of the Ballin Kombetar during World War II, and main rival against the Communist party. Sami bey Frashëri (Turkish: Şemseddin Sami Bey; June 1, 1850 – June 18, 1904) or Şemseddin Sâmi was an Albanian writer, lexicographer, philosopher, playwright and a prominent figure of the Rilindja Kombëtare, the National Renaissance movement of Albania, together with his two brothers Abdyl and Naim.
Naim Frasheri High School is a high school in Albania. Its creation reflects the Albanian modern history of school. The high school is located in the city of Durrës. It was founded on 1957–1958 by the Albanian government. More than 1430 students are currently students whereas the high school has 45 teachers.
