Back 15+ years ago (maybe a bit longer), the Walmart near me (Rindge) would always dump all their ammo after hunting season, it would be marked down 60-80% depending on what it was. The wife of a friend of mine worked there and let me know when the "clearance" began so I wouldn't miss out.
Firearms and ammunition are only available at Wal-Mart stores licensed to sell firearms. Please call your local store first to make sure they are licensed to sell firearms. None of the ones near me still sell firearms. I realize I will probably have to go out of state to get one of these. I just need to know which store(s) I can go to. TIA
Walmart in Hadley MA had plenty a few days ago but I was picking up a few items and saw this. I haven’t bought much there in years as they don’t sell any caliber I use except .22 lr. I usually go to NH shopping every other week and hit Runnings. I was just there yesterday and they had a decent sale price on Blazer 9mm. F*ck WalMart
Walmart firearm are the same as those from any other place - firearm companies aren't going to lessen thier products just for WalMart - too much at stake s far as reputation and liability is involved. Gotta love the dealers that make these claims. Yes there are some parts on the current 10/22's that are polymer. Big deal?
TS and other online vendors offer better ammo at similar market lows. Of course I see where you're coming from, many of the retail shops in FL are completely terrible so if you just want a few boxes its annoying.... Florida, at least south of Orlando, is pretty terrible for gun owners...
The rifle had a broken firing pin (he let me break it down in the shop to check it out) which I easily replace for about $15. And just when I thought the deal was done, he threw in a .50 ammo box half-full of surplus 7mm Mauser ammo to go with it! Nice selection of guys, ammo, accessories in a small store. Highly recommended! *
Shantece Marie Norton shot and killed a grandfather who accidentally backed into her car in a Walmart parking lot. He went to apologize for the minor fender bender, and she shot him in the face then fled the scene. Arrested the next day.
The Walmart in Concord doesn't check because it is so far from the MA border. I believe it has something to do with MA laws on who can own ammo, and stores semi-close to the borders don't want to be sued.
I already reload for 18 calibers to feed dozens of guns. I'm also backlogged with three plus years of ammo /components in every cal I shoot. On average, I buy and sell a dozen plus more guns /year. I.e. my local /not so local gunshops see PLENTY of my money so one purchase from a chain store is in the weeds. Trust me.).
I found a Liberty Centurion 20 safe that I plan on buying, but will be going to Four Seasons this weekend and might look at the Sentry safes. I've seen them at Walmart and similar stores, and have heard that the quality and features vary between retail and firearm stores. My question is how Sentry safes compare to Liberty safes.
