Picture Pages is a 1978–1984 American educational television program aimed at preschool children, presented by Bill Cosby—teaching lessons on basic arithmetic, geometry, word association and drawing through a series of interactive lessons that used a workbook that viewers would follow along with the lesson.
Picture books are aimed at young children. Many are written with vocabulary a child can understand but not necessarily read. For this reason, picture books tend to have two functions in the lives of children: they are first read to young children by adults, and then children read them themselves once they begin learning to read.
Ready Set Learn! was an American television block broadcast from late 1992 until 2010 across the Discovery Communications-owned TLC and Discovery Kids networks.
