This is my first scenery attempt for XP11. I live in Cairo, Egypt and HECA is my home town airport, I found that the default airport is nothing but runways and some flat concrete taxiways, also the available scenery by others (which is excellent effort) is outdated for now. So i took it to WED to try to improve my airport ☺️.

There are no local navaids (ILS components, GLS base station, markers and locator beacons) for airports that aren't there. We don't put up ILSs that lead into corn fields (or in this case, sand dunes). When the airport is there in the default scenery, the navaids will "magically" be back, too. 1. Quote.
About This File. Supports X-Plane 12. Update the airport with the use of some Objects and Facades from other designs. I did not use any libraries ٫. Please give me an opinion about the airport, and let me know about mistakes and tips. Wait for your suggestions about a new airport that you would like to work on.

It will include updated: airport flows/taxi-routes for XP12 ATC to use; new airport objects and markings; new/additional parking spots, possibly corrected comm frequencies, etc. etc.. Everything/anything an airport builder decided was faulty, and then added/repaired and uploaded to the Gateway.
The global scenery recut in 12.0.9 hasn't been kind to HECA. The Airport footprint was likely missing in the dataset used to generate the new mesh. Thus, the algorithm didn't smooth the area and didn't use the airport boundary to mask autogen. The latest gateway update is only a band-aid until the next mesh recut.
