A membership in the KCBS or SLBS also gets you in the door because those organizations are both NP and members with RD. RD just doesn't want a bunch of randoms in there strolling the aisles buying one thing.....it's hard enough to navigate through there already. They cater to the restaurant guys with multiple carts buying $1000's a day or week.

I can find them everywhere. I think I'm looking for beef back ribs. I have cooked all 3 types of ribs. I used to prefer the beef back ribs until I discovered how to cook uncut chuck short ribs or Plate Ribs. Restaurant Depot is charging about $3.59/pound for uncut short ribs and $6.59 for uncut Plate Ribs.

  11. Best value for Egg Meats - Restaurant Depot or Costco?

    eggheadforum.com/discussion/1174537/best-value-for-egg-meats-restaurant-depot...

@yzzi's post about KCBS providing day passes to Restaurant Depot, and @SGH's news that one can go every day should one's smoker have the horsepower, has got me thinking. I have a Costco about a mile from my house. It's a madhouse, all the time, but it's ridiculously convenient, and it's got great deals on meat as the members here can attest.
