Zaynab's father was Jahsh ibn Riyab, an immigrant from the Asad ibn Khuzaymah tribe who had settled in Mecca under the protection of the Umayya clan. Her mother was Umayma bint Abd al-Muttalib, a member of the Hashim clan of the Quraysh tribe and a sister of Muhammad's father.
It is improbable that the elderly Khadija could have given birth to so many children. Verse 178 of chapter of Al Imran was descended about polytheists of Mecca such as Abu Sufyan ibn Harb. Zainab bint Ali once again relates this verse to Yazid, grandson of Abu Sufyan ibn Harb. She said: "Do not be satisfied with this temporal achievement; this time passes quickly and Allah will punish you. You will be humiliated." [1]

Marhab ibn Al-Harith then stepped forward to avenge his brother, but after a bloody battle, Ali also killed him. Marhab’s brother Yasir then ran out to avenge Marhab, and Zubayr ibn al-Awwam killed Yasir. [4]: 512–514 After this, a general battle broke out; the Jews were defeated when the Muslims killed Zaynab’s brother Al-Harith.
