The Raiders will represent Colgate University , play their home games at the Class of 1965 Arena and be coached by Mike Harder in his 2nd season.
The Raiders finished the 2023–24 season 25–10, 16–2 in Patriot League play to finish as regular season champions for the fourth consecutive year. As the No. 1 seed, they defeated Holy Cross, Bucknell, and Lehigh to win the Patriot League tournament championship, receiving the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA tournament for the fourth consecutive year. The 2024 ECAC Hockey men's ice hockey tournament was the 63rd tournament in league history. It was played between March 8 and March 23, 2024. By winning the tournament, Cornell received ECAC Hockey's automatic bid to the 2024 NCAA Division I men's ice hockey tournament.

The 2024 Colgate Raiders football team represented Colgate University as a member of the Patriot League during the 2024 NCAA Division I FCS football season. The Raiders were led by 4th-year head coach Stan Dakosty , and played their home games at Crown Field at Andy Kerr Stadium in Hamilton, New York .
Since then, the team has advanced to the playoffs numerous times. In 2003, Colgate advanced to the Division I-AA final, having won 15 straight games that season (12–0 Schedule, 3 Playoff Wins), becoming the first and only Patriot League team to ever do so (achieving a final record of 15–1). There, the Raiders lost to Delaware, 40–0. [3]
