Paul Zachary Myers (born March 9, 1957) is an American biologist who founded and writes the Pharyngula science blog.He is associate professor of biology at the University of Minnesota Morris (UMM) [1] where he works in the field of developmental biology. [2]

American biologist and academic PZ Myers coined the term "courtier's reply" in a December 2006 entry on his blog, Pharyngula.Myers was reacting to some of the criticism leveled at the 2006 book The God Delusion, in which author Richard Dawkins argued against the existence of a supernatural creator.
