Grand Prix 2, released in North America as "Grand Prix II", [2] is a racing simulator released by MicroProse in 1996. It is a sequel to Formula One Grand Prix . It was made under an official FIA license [ 3 ] that featured the Formula One 1994 season, with all of the circuits, teams, drivers and cars.
Grand Prix is a time trial, and the competing cars are obstacles rather than competition for the finish line. The player's car can easily outpace the other cars, but if it collides with one, its speed drops lower than that of the impacted car. [ 3 ]
Much like its predecessors, Grand Prix 4 continues to garner a strong modding community long after its launch, with numerous non-Formula One racing series, such as Champ Car and the IMSA SportsCar Championship, and Formula One seasons, including the recent 2024 season, being represented in the game by dedicated modders.

Grand Prix Simulator is a racing game developed by The Oliver Twins and published by Codemasters for the ZX Spectrum, Amstrad CPC, Commodore 64, and Atari 8-bit computers.
