St. Barnabas High School, founded in 1924, is located at 425 East 240th Street, Bronx, New York, 10470. It is an all-girls Catholic parish school that offers a college prep program to young women in Grades 9–12.
From its founding, the school was operated by the Sisters of Charity as a service to the members of the Parish of St. Barnabas. [6] [7] As of September 1, 2015, the school became independent of the parish. [8] [9] The school chapel was renovated sometime during the tenure of Timothy S. Collins as pastor, which lasted from 1986 to 1994. [10]
