Adventures of Rusty is a 1945 American drama film, the first in the "Rusty" series of children's films. [1] The series of eight films was made in the 1940s by Columbia Pictures with stories centered on Rusty, a German Shepherd dog.

Lee William Aaker (September 25, 1943 – April 1, 2021) [1] was an American child actor, producer, carpenter, and ski instructor known for his appearance as Rusty of "B-Company" in the 1950s television program The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin. He was the final surviving cast member of the series.

Rusty crawls under the trailer and is injured when the trailer collapses to the ground. Danny wakes up when the dog cries out, and wakes up the doctor, who is unconscious from the gas. Danny goes home to his parents and the doctor treats Rusty at the camp. Hugh and his son are finally reconciled and go back to the doctor's camp together.
