The Marshall County High School shooting was a mass shooting that occurred at Marshall County High School near Benton, Kentucky, [a] on January 23, 2018. The gunman, 15-year-old student Gabe Parker, opened fire in an open area of the school, murdering two students and injuring 14 others.
