As part of the program, the Railroaders Memorial Museum collaborated with officials from the National Park Service to renovate tourist facilities at the nearby Horseshoe Curve. The $5.8 million renovations were completed in 1992 with the dedication of a new visitors center to be operated by the museum.
The museum is independently operated as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization [1] along with the Allaire Village and is located in Allaire State Park in New Jersey. [2] The museum runs Easter Bunny Express trains in April, Haunted Halloween trains in October, and Santa Special trains on the weekends in December.
