Mathura district is home to many important sites associated with goddess Radha and Lord Krishna, who according to legend, was born in Mathura and grew up in the nearby town of Vrindavan. Both cities are some of the most sacred sites in the Vaishnava tradition, making Mathura district an important Hindu pilgrimage centre.
It is the first Hindi computer-animated film based on Hindu faith of Krishna, one of the most reverred deity in Hinduism and was theatrically released in India on 29 September 2006. [1] The animation for the film is done by Media Solutionz.
Magazine was started in Hindi with a small circulation from Agra. Publication had to be stopped soon due to unavailability of raw material caused by World War II. It restarted in January 1940 with 500 copies. In 1941 it shifted to Mathura. [1] Since then, it has continued without any interruption till date.
