Saraland High School competes in Class 6A of AHSAA. During the 2022 football season, the Spartans saw major success in their football program, winning their first 6A football title in program history. Sarah Franklin (born February 27, 2002) is an American professional volleyball player LOVB Madison of LOVB Pro. A 6-foot-4-inch (1.93 m) outside hitter, played college volleyball for the Michigan State Spartans and the Wisconsin Badgers. She was named the AVCA National Player of the Year in 2023 and Big Ten Player of the Year in 2023 and 2024.
