Assuming Word 2010 Starter allows fields (which it surely must), here's how: Press Ctrl+F9 to insert a field. You will see the field delimiters represented by braces (which can't be typed from the keyboard). Between the braces, type EQ \f (rise,run). The result will be { EQ \f (rise,run) }.
