Robinson's of Florida was the last anchor to open, which debuted on September 4, 1973. Robinson's sold its entire Florida division to Maison Blanche, a Louisiana-based department store, in 1987. St. Petersburg businessman Bill Edwards bought the complex for $5.2 million in September 2011, and announced plans to revitalize the complex. The Euclid St. Paul's Neighborhood began as an orange grove in 1912 [1] in a part of town most residents regarded as "out in the country."
