David L. Boyd, 69, Middleport, Ohio passed away at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus, Ohio on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 after an extended illness. He was born on December 4, 1953, the son of Lawrence “Lightning” Boyd and Helen (Payne) Boyd. He married Janice Dotson on November 24, 1979.

Wanda Marie Vining, 84, passed away on Wednesday August 23,2023 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born July 15, 1939, the daughter of the late Gerald and Goldie (Boles) Graham. She proudly attended Rutland High School and attended the Rutland Church of the Nazarene where she was a charter member.

Funeral services will be Monday, March 18, 2024 at 1:00pm at the Anderson McDaniel Funeral Home in Pomeroy with Pastor Lyndal Black officiating. Burial will follow in the Rocksprings Cemetery. Visitation will e held two hours prior to the funeral service (11:00am-1:00pm).
