Natalie Robinson Cole (1901 – December 12, 1984) [1] was an American educator known for her teaching methods in elementary classrooms. For much of her career, Cole taught inner city children in the Los Angeles area. She wrote two books, Arts in the Classroom (1940) [2] which, as of 1963, had been reprinted thirteen times. [3]
Since 1997, The Drawing Academy (TDA) has been offering drawing courses. The primary activity at TDA is a semester course in classical drawing, which provides students with a foundation for a creative career within art, design, advertising, architecture, animation and other related fields. The course is offered twice a year, in January and August.

[4] The school has greatly expanded its program since 1988, which now includes "painting excursions to Governors Island, museum and artist studio trips."

The Royal Drawing School is a not-for-profit educational organisation and registered charity [1] in Shoreditch, in the London Borough of Hackney, England. It was founded in 2000 by King Charles III (then Prince of Wales ) and artist Catherine Goodman as The Prince's Drawing School and received its current name in 2014.
