Sergio Gabriel Martínez (born 21 February 1975) is an Argentine professional boxer. He has held world championships in two weight classes , including the WBC super welterweight title from 2009 to 2010; and the unified WBC, WBO , Ring magazine and lineal middleweight titles between 2010 and 2014.

Pavlik spent most of his time headhunting trying to land a hard right, which did help Pavlik score a knock-down in the seventh round, however Martinez would later claimed it was an accidental fall, when their feet got tangled up.
