Kinross High School is a state school in Kinross, Scotland. The school is located adjacent to the leisure centre , and is part of Loch Leven Community Campus, named after the nearby Loch Leven . In 2007, it was announced that the school would be moving to a new campus, as part of a scheme of school building in the Perth & Kinross area. [ 1 ]

There were a total of 14,227 students enrolled in the Fairbanks North Star Borough School District during the 2007–2008 school year. Of these, 14,031 were enrolled in grades K-12 and 196 were pre-elementary (early childhood) students.
Kinross' first project – now operated by its subsidiary Fairbanks Gold Mining – was the Fort Knox Gold Mine, an open-pit mining operation in Alaska. The area, including surrounding deposits, was prospected as early as 1913, but no mining took place until 1996. The mine currently produces over 200,000 ounces of gold a year. [27]

The Kinross Township Hall and School is a rectangular two-story hip-roof building on a concrete block foundation, measuring 40 feet across and 26 feet in depth. The building is clad with white-painted clapboard, with plain cornerboards and window trim and projecting eaves with brackets.
