Great post now that I have 99 slayer this is awesome info great job! Mogres over hill giants if using for prayer restoration. Mogres have a base LP of 1,950 versus hill giants ~3.2k. This makes killing them via aoe much more effortless as both drop big bones if you don't care for champion scrolls.
Your friend can use your dungeon provided you are both 99 slayer and neither are Ironmen. I do believe you need to be online though. For necro it's all speculation. Personally I am expecting high XP single target mobs to be better depending on how good the aoe potential and target swapping for summons with the skill.
An additional cost of slayer points for all of these would be more than fitting. Make the drop from elite dungeons rarer. Say 1/500 from a regular run and only on final boss completion. Then improved to a 1/250 roll on opening of the chest. That provides an overall drop chance to 1/100 for a run through all three.

In addition to the other comments, I've also heard of some players/comp owners putting in Earth Warriors so they could get the Champion's Scroll "easily." 5 muspah, 5 abyssal demons, 5 shadow creatures, 1 tormented demon + 4 goblins/hillgiants/chickens (the first two for champ scroll drop potential) are a few decent ideas.
There's no best setup. It really depends on your stats, equipment, goals and preferences. Some players choose to put gold-grinding monsters in PoD, some put high-XP stuff in there. Other players may farm for rare untradeables or keep monsters that are in inconvenient locations. 1.

Join us in "slayer dungs" fc for help, ideas, or to visit others' dungeons. Camels are actually less aids in a large because you can trigger all 5 and run to door like Eddys. Tormented demons are less awful.
Nihils/Muspahs/Ganos though are wayyy too scattered normally and you can create a private slayer room holding more monsters than you normally get. If it works, you might even be able to do off-task Edimmu. BTW Souls are ~1/15min with muspahs, but they get rarer with higher lvl monsters. Getting a soul is more common with slayer tasks.
One account with 5 arma warriors, 2 rune dragons with an earth warrior to aggro, a hydrix dragon, onyx dragon, and dragonstone dragon. Other account with 5 crystal shapeshifters, 5 capsauris, and 3 kalgerion demons. Corrupted creatures could be interesting, but you won’t have the auto-looting chest which is a downside.
