The Ice Armor suits are not bad suits. I use the Lift suit and am very happy with it. I am not saying this because I pro staff for them but say it as a actual user of it. that being said I do have a Striker suit too. I normally wear the Lift suit on most days but on the really extremely cold days I will wear the Striker suit. they are both good ...

Looking at Striker’s web site and comparing the Climate, Hardwater and the Predator, I have a couple of questions for owners of those suits. I fish in weather from -20 to 40 deg and ...
January 20, 2015 at 5:44 pm #1500170. Well it’s about that time to replace my ten year old Ice Armor suit and was looking at the Striker Predator bibs and parka. I was wondering if the sizes are comperable. I am a stout 5’9″ and 150lbs. I wear a medium in the Ice Armor suit. I noticed that TUCR has the parka and bibs for $180 each.
Nice, however, would be a little better if one could read the header text! Just try zooming in on the picture. I don’t happen to know much about the Trekker suit because I already have the predator and climate suits but thought I would pass along that Sportsman’s warehouse has them online for $90 per piece.
From experience, yes. The oddly-shaped open water transducer is hard to keep pointing straight down. The line gets tangled up super easy also. The ice transducer will allow you to get a narrower beam which is better for jigging or a wider beam for searching for fish. Unless you use it once a year of course.
I searched high and low for the Clam Ascent stuff, as I wanted the free boots , but nobody has the jackets in 2X or 3X, only the bibs were in stock. The store in Roseville that sells guns and skis had 30% off all ice fishing clothing which made the Striker stuff a bit easier to swallow since Striker jacks the price up for extended sizes.
After many review i thinking of either the Ice Armor or the Striker. It seems the Striker is the best setup, Heard the Ice Armor was like wearing a garbage bag. I went to gander today and tried on the Striker. I put the large one on and seemed tight around the nutz (lol, only way to describe it). They only had the predictor or i would have ...
September 28, 2021 at 1:55 pm #2063883. Looking into a new ice suit. Reading on the specs on the new StrikeMaster Pro Jacket it says 140g of insulation in the jacket and 40g of insulation in the puff jacket. Worn together would be 180g. I really like the new design of the pro suit but not sure I need that much warmth.
January 19, 2016 at 2:45 pm #1593861. After trying on the Blue Ice Armor, cabelas blue guidewear, and striker hardwater bibs (all you same size) it seemed like the striker bibs were a bit looser in the chest than the other two. Also more range in the crotch area when kneeling and moving around, but not baggy and loose.
