Temptalia Alternatives. Beauty Reviews. Now that Temptalia's taking a break, does anyone know of a beauty reviewer that consistently puts up honest makeup reviews and clear swatches? Most bloggers I've found don't focus on just makeup or don't post very often and I feel like I'm missing out on keeping up with releases.
She can't possibly keep up with the sheer volume of makeup releases on her own - no one could IMO. I will Christine well and still very much want the Temptalia stamp of approval when buying my luxury makeup items! 😅 I hope the site's able to bounce back to where it was a few years ago. 1. Reply. Temptalia's are often #1-2 when the words "swatch" or "review" are included in the search. Whereas if it's a search for a product without those keywords, brands or stores pay more money to Google to be higher up.
For example if I opt for "start from scratch" and put in my skintone as Dark Tan and undertones as Olive all of my suggestions are olive according to Temptalia but specifically warm/yellow according to each brand (Bobbi Brown Warm Almond, Revlon Nearly Naked Caramel, etc) and how it appears on my skin (thanks to failed past purchase).
Temptalia's reviews have saved me a lot of money with both her dupes and ratings of products. And I always get good matches thanks to the Foundation Matrix. Her new puppy is cute, too.

Temptalia has uploaded swatches, initial thoughts, and a detailed writeup of her experience with shipping and swatching. I appreciate how thorough and objective she was. She described her shipping experiences to where she lives in Arizona and compared it to other instances of ordering other lipsticks.
