Dr. Philip Kern answered. Maybe not much: Antibodies to the thyroid may indicate autoimmune thyroid disease, such as Hashimotos thyroiditis or Graves disease. However, thyroglobulin antibodies are relatively non-specific and not very useful. You should ask your doctor why (s)he performed this measurement.
