Old Thresher's Reunion. The Midwest Old Threshers Reunion is an annual event that takes place in the small town of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, United States, and runs for five days, ending on the Labor Day weekend. Charles Berryhill was a Pennsylvania native who moved in Iowa City in 1839. Described as a "merchant, farmer, and speculator," he was a charter member of the local Old Settlers' Association.
