Me too - for a month or more now my Barclaycard fails to show in the Barclays (banking) app more often than not. I applied for a platinum card and was accepted, was given an ID number and registered online and was told my card will arrive in 5 business days.

You could pay the balance before the statement is generated, but the two negatives of doing this are; 1. You are not taking advantage of the interest free period. 2. If there is a zero balance on your credit card every time it is reported to the credit reference agencies, it looks as though your credit card is not being used.
Obviously this is my fault entirely and i'm not going to start expecting the world from my credit card provider (HSBC Mastercard) as a result. However this person did also tell me that they once lost £200 worth of christmas shopping in a busy shopping centre and they were refunded all costs by their credit card company.

21 April 2023 at 4:29PM. Start of April I receive a vague letter in the post stating my Hilton Honors Barclay card was being cancelled in 60 days. There was a section for reason which was redacted with symbols and not readable. So I ring Barclays speak to a nice lady who can’t understand it either and logs a complaint.
