A brewpub acquired the name "Hoster Brewing Company" in 1989, opening that year in the High Line Car House at 55 S. High St. The brewery served numerous beers, including the historic "Gold Top" lager brew, a new but similar recipe. It began distributing to local restaurants in 1991.

Midway on High, also known as Midway Bar and Restaurant or simply Midway, is a bar located in Columbus, Ohio, adjacent to the main campus of Ohio State University. Directly across the street from the Ohio Union , the High Street bar has been open since 2012 and since its opening has been owned by local firm A&R Creative.
It was founded in 1939, by Leopold Oldani, and is credited with the invention of toasted ravioli, which is considered a key example of the Cuisine of St. Louis. It was renamed Mama Campisi's in 1982, and continued under that name until 2005, when it was closed down.
