Carrefour Group, S.A. (French: Groupe Carrefour, ⓘ), is a French multinational retail and wholesaling corporation headquartered in Massy, France. Carrefour Market was created in 2007, to eventually replace the older supermarkets of the Carrefour Group like Champion (Internationally), GB Supermarkets (Belgium) and GS (Italy). Since 2011, the Carrefour group had decided to deploy Carrefour Market supermarkets internationally.
