Benedict Canyon is an area in the Westside of the city of Los Angeles, California. To the north of the Benedict Canyon neighborhood is the neighborhood of Sherman Oaks, to the west is the neighborhood of Beverly Glen, to the east are Beverly Park and Franklin Canyon, and to the south is the city of Beverly Hills. Franklin Canyon Park. Filming of the first season's initial order of 6 episodes took place in April and May 1991. [7] [8] The series was allotted $180,000 per episode, which was considered low-budget. [9] Interiors for the show were filmed inside a soundstage on Lankershim Boulevard in Sun Valley. [10]
