Key Largo harbor. Key Largo is an unincorporated area and census-designated place in Monroe County, Florida, United States, located on the island of Key Largo in the upper Florida Keys. The population was 12,447 at the 2020 census, [2] up from 10,433 in 2010. [5] The name comes from the Spanish Cayo Largo, or "long key".
Then in 1917, it moved across the street to the Sweeting Building at 420 Duval Street. In 1941, the library moved to the Woman’s Club at 319 Duval Street. In 1951, the City of Key West agreed to partially fund library operations. In 1956, Monroe County agreed to add to their assistance. November 15, 1959, the Key West Library officially opened.
CR 905 begins at U.S. Highway 1 (US 1), also known as the Overseas Highway, in Key Largo. From US 1, it heads northeast along Key Largo. Nine miles later, it intersects CR 905A (Card Sound Road) which runs to the mainland over the Card Sound Bridge. CR 905 then continues northwest to the Ocean Reef Club on the north end of Key Largo.
