The producers were the future Controller of BBC1 Donald Baverstock and the future Director-General of the BBC Alasdair Milne .

Hosted by Jack Paar, it aired from July 29, 1957 to March 30, 1962, replacing Tonight Starring Steve Allen and was replaced by The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson.
