Chalfont St Peter is a large village and civil parish in southeastern Buckinghamshire, England. It is in a group of villages called The Chalfonts which also includes Chalfont St Giles and Little Chalfont. The villages lie between High Wycombe and Rickmansworth. Chalfont St Peter is one of the largest villages, with nearly 13,000 residents.
In 1962 Chalfont St Peter joined the Spartan League. When it merged with the Metropolitan–London League to form the London Spartan League in 1975, the club were placed in to Division Two. The Grange developed from an estate first recorded in the possession of Missenden Abbey in 1224 and was valued at £12 in 1291. [1] The estate was also known as the rectory or parsonage, and farmers were employed to act as bailiff and farm the estate, such as John Kynwoldmerssh in the early fifteenth century. [2]
