Máiréad Nesbitt (/ ˈ m ɔːr eɪ d / MOR-ayd, [citation needed] Irish: [ˈmˠaːɾʲeːd̪ˠ]) is an Irish musician. She is known for performing Celtic and classical music and being the former fiddler for Celtic Woman.
She was a member of Celtic Woman from 2010 to 2014 during which time she appeared on the albums: Believe, Home For Christmas, and Emerald: Musical Gems. She also appeared on several compilation albums that were released after her exit. Her first solo album, Hiding Away, was recorded in Nashville and released in 2015.
Her second break from Celtic Woman was eventually announced as permanent in January 2013, and McFadden became a permanent member of the group. On leaving Celtic Woman, Kelly told Charlie Patton of the Florida Times-Union , "It was an amazing experience, but with four kids, I just needed stability."
On 20 April 2017, Celtic Woman announced a special performance of their Voices of Angels world tour at the 3Arena in Dublin, Ireland on 2 September of the same year.In July, it was confirmed that the show would be recorded as the next DVD release and concert special for American broadcaster PBS from the group.

A Christmas Celebration was recorded in and released worldwide on 3 October 2006. The album, like the group's self-titled debut album, was produced and arranged by David Downes and features vocalists Chloë Agnew, Órla Fallon, Lisa Kelly, and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, with violinist Máiréad Nesbitt.
Luke Kavanagh, a former college classmate of Éabha's, saw a video on YouTube of her singing Just Cry, one of her songs. Luke referred the video to his father David Kavanagh, the then-chairman and chief executive of Celtic Woman Ltd. Éabha was subsequently invited to audition for Celtic Woman.
