Stena Line is a Swedish shipping line company and one of the largest ferry operators in the world. It services Denmark, France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Latvia, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Finland and Sweden. Stena Line is a major unit of Stena AB, itself a part of the Stena Sphere.

The cable is due to run between the Knockraha substation in County Cork, Ireland, to the La Martyre substation in Finistère, France. [4]Of its total length of 575 km (357 miles), 500 km (311 miles) will pass through Irish, British and French waters of the Celtic Sea.

[3] Celtic Horizon was renamed Stena Horizon and is managed by Northern Marine Ferries. [4] Stena Horizon carries a maximum of 660 passengers, [5] though she has a design capacity for 972.

These ships follow much the same layout as the original standard-length Stena E-Flexers, however these are extended to 240 m (787 ft 5 in) long. With the extension in the ship's length, lane space is increased by 500 lane metres to 3600lm.
The Stena Estrid is a passenger and vehicle 'Ro-Pax' ferry which sails for Stena Line on its Holyhead–Dublin route. [1] She is the first ferry in the E-Flexer class, [2] and was delivered to the company on 15 November 2019. [3] [4] She made her maiden commercial crossing between Holyhead and Dublin on 13 January 2020. [5]
