Skyblast sings an eerie harmony that summons the other two Mini-Cons from their stasis, and they form the Blaster, allowing Optimus to defeat Tidal Wave. Both sides soon gain new members in Sideswipe, an eager new Autobot, and Wheeljack, a former Autobot who has joined the Decepticons, believing that Hot Shot betrayed him on Cybertron.
Kicker and Misha arrive in Jungle City, where helicopters come to complete the energon tower. But Alpha Q is not ready to let Earth go without a fight, and sends a group of stealth Terrorcons, named Command Ravage and Blackout. Unfortunately for him, both Kicker and Tidal Wave notice the Terrorcons, who are tunneling to avoid the base's defenses.
Tidal Wave is practically invulnerable for the Autobots' weapon. On one occasion, Hot-Shot tried to block his blows with the Skyboom Shield, only to end up being outmuscled and pushed away before being rescued. What is more, Tidal Wave transforms himself into a kind of flying machine for Megatron. Megatron and Optimus Prime are fighting in the air.
Roll out with the Autobots' cinematic outings before 'Transformers One' arrives in theaters.
Ten years after the war for the Mini-Cons and the apparent destruction of Unicron, the mysterious Alpha Q (which stands for "Quintesson"), operating out of the husk of the planet-eater's body, releases energy-eating Terrorcons to attack the Autobots' Cybertron Cities in the Solar system, gathering Energon for Alpha Q's plan.
They raise the ancient metropolis and begin stealing the energy, while the act of raising Atlantis to the surface unleashes a powerful tidal wave that sinks a cruise ship and floods a coastal city. The Autobots quickly move into action to aid the beleaguered citizens, only for the Breast Force to attack.
