Chain O'Lakes is an Indiana state park on 2,718 acres (11.00 km 2) in Noble County, Indiana, in the United States. The park is located near the towns of Albion and Avilla and is 19 miles (31 km) northwest of the northeastern Indiana's major city, Fort Wayne .
The community is in northern Steuben County, surrounding Jimmerson Lake, one of a chain of lakes.It is 7 miles (11 km) northwest of Angola, the county seat, and 5 miles (8 km) southeast of Orland.
Its water quality is ranked among the best in Indiana lakes. The lake is the largest of a group of lakes known as the James Lake Chain. These lakes are located mostly in Steuben County, Indiana, but also extend into southern Michigan.
