The Toledo Area Athletic Conference (TAAC) is a high school athletic conference located in northwest Ohio, with member schools stretched across Lucas, Williams, and Wood counties. It was formed in 1988, [ 1 ] and the league sponsors football , cross country , volleyball , golf , basketball , wrestling , baseball , softball , and track & field .
The following is a list of schools that participate in NCAA Division I softball, according to NCAA.com. [1] These teams compete to go to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and Devon Park for the Women's College World Series. (For schools whose athletic branding does not directly correspond with the school name, the athletic branding is in parentheses.)
SUA had been a member of the Toledo City League for all athletic competition until joining the Three Rivers Athletic Conference in 2011. After the 2022-2023 academic year, SUA will join the Catholic High School League based in the Detroit area, but will also play independent matches in some sports.
