San Francisco City Hall is the seat of government for the City and County of San Francisco, California. Fox Plaza is a 29-story building located at 1390 Market Street in the Civic Center area of San Francisco. Built in 1966, the tower stands 354 ft (108 m) on the site of the former historic Fox Theatre at 1350 Market, which was opened in June 1929 and demolished in 1963. [3] The first twelve floors contain office space.
The Avalon Ballroom was a music venue in the Polk Gulch neighborhood of San Francisco, California, at 1244 Sutter Street [1] (or 1268 Sutter, [2] depending on the entrance). The space is known as the location of many concerts of the counterculture movement, from around 1966 to 1969.
