The term toggle mode is used in the context of NAND flash memory. Overview The ...
Two major flash device manufacturers, Toshiba and Samsung, have chosen to use an interface of their own design known as Toggle Mode (and now Toggle). This interface isn't pin-to-pin compatible with the ONFI specification. The result is that a product designed for one vendor's devices may not be able to use another vendor's devices.
The difference between Program mode and Full Auto mode is that in program mode, only the exposure is automatic, while other camera settings (e.g. shooting mode, exposure compensation, flash) can be set manually; in Full Auto mode, everything is automatic.
ONFI produced specifications for standard interface to NAND flash chips. Version 1.0 of this specification was released on December 28, 2006, and made available at no cost from the ONFI web site. Samsung was still not a participant. [9] It specified: a standard physical interface for NAND flash in TSOP-48, WSOP-48, LGA-52, and BGA-63 packages
Either the flash is firing too late or the shutter speed is too fast (shutter moving vertically). Note the different exposure levels. In photography, flash synchronization or flash sync is the synchronizing the firing of a photographic flash with the opening of the shutter admitting light to photographic film or electronic image sensor. StrataFlash is a NOR flash memory technology first developed by Intel. It stores two or more bits of information per cell rather than just one, in an architecture called multi-level cell (MLC). This is accomplished by storing intermediate voltage levels instead of using only the two levels (discharged = "0" and charged = "1") of traditional ...
A full-power flash from a modern built-in or hot shoe mounted electronic flash has a typical duration of about 1ms, or a little less, so the minimum possible exposure time for even exposure across the sensor with a full-power flash is about 2.4 ms + 1.0 ms = 3.4 ms, corresponding to a shutter speed of about 1 ⁄ 290 s. However some time is ...
When the flash is fully inserted, a spring-loaded latch on the flash locks into the indentation in the middle of the flash shoe. Detachment The user presses the unlock button on the flash body, which, by means of a lever or a wedge mechanism disengages the locking latch, enabling the user to slide off the flash from the camera body.
