The Hoosier Trails Council is the result of several council mergers. [4] In 1921, the Bartholomew County Council (#150) was founded. During the late 1920s, it merged into the Hoosier Hills Area Council (#150), founded in 1928. In 1928 the Lost River Area Council was founded.
