Malco Theatres, Inc. is a family owned and operated movie theater chain that has been in business for over one hundred years. [1] It has been led by four generations of the Lightman family. The Malco was remodeled in 1962 and continued to be the leading Hot Springs cinema through the 1980s, although the rise of multi-screen theaters around the country led to the Malco's single auditorium being divided into twin theaters.
