I had an '07 Tacoma before I got my '05 Tundra DC, so I can say this with credibility, "my Tundra is definitely not an over-sized Tacoma w/ a V8. It is much more truck for the money. I liked my Tacoma. I love my Tundra. Suits (recreation, camping, fishing, hunting, moderate hauling), my rather modest needs much better than the Tacoma.

Assuming the maintenance intervals for the 2014 FFV 5.7 Tundras are the same as the 2012 - 2013 FFV 5.7 Tundras, Toyota requires you to change the oil and filter on an FFV Tundra TWICE AS OFTEN as a NON-FFV Tundra (5,000 miles vs. 10,000 miles, respectively; assuming normal, non-severe driving conditions and NO use of E85). 10. Pros/cons list for possible buyers of Sequoia - Toyota Tundra...

    www.tundrasolutions.com/threads/pros-cons-list-for-possible-buyers-of-sequoia.1647

    2) The Tundra is very quiet, but the Sequoia is just a bit quieter. 3) The Tundra has a leaf spring rear suspension while the Sequoia has a coil spring five-link suspension. This gives the Sequoia a slightly better ride on a rough road. On the freeway, they ride about the same. So, I suggest picking one based on what you will be using it for.

True, sometimes the buttons can get pushed with the keys stuffed in your pocket and the 2 way does seem to go through the batteries a little faster but for me, the pro's definately outweigh the cons. 2012 Crewmax TRD 5.7, 4x4, 15% tint all around plus sunstrip.
