In reading everything I can find on these Ford LGT 42" two stage blowers I have learded there were at least 2 models with slight differences. Model #09JC9806 is for the Opensided ('72 to '76) LGT series Jake built tractors. Model #09JC9895 is for the Closedsided ('77 to '83) LGT series Jake built tractors.
I was looking on here for information about what type of fluid to use to change the hydraulic/transmission fluid on my LGT 145, it is the late 70's early 80's closed side type. One post said there is only one kind, another said use just about anything. The one that insisted on one kind had pictures, but they didn't show correctly for me.

Thanks Tommy. Since that earlier posting, I have found two used LGT145 mower decks. Neither is in good shape, but they are rebuildable. Nicely restored LGT 125's go in the $500-$600 range depending on your local market, so $50 is a good start. Depends on the what's up with the K301 and if the drive system is in good shape. Multi weight oil is not recommended for small engines. You should stick with straight 30W. I use John Deer HyGuard Hydraulic oil in the hydraulic drive.
